Myke is a subject I will never grow tired of talking, he never ceases to amaze me. Many people don’t know that not only does Myke volunteer at our church, but he has just completed a year long program at our church that emphasizes in church ministry and leadership. Having him being gone a lot was hard, but I know he was doing good work.
This past Saturday he and 7 other hard working folks graduated from the program. They all worked hard by volunteering their time in different areas of the church, Myke’s was media. He worked on videos, editing different sermons and videos, and honestly has loved it. A couple years ago, he wanted to go back to school to become a better video editor, a few months in, something didn’t feel right and he left. I could tell he was upset, so when this opportunity came around we discussed it in depth not only with each other, but with our pastors because we trust their opinion. They have been so incredible to us, especially throughout this whole journey. We are so grateful for the support we’ve had this past year and we are so looking forward to what God has in store for us.
